Situation

Cliasmol is halfway, or about 7 miles, along the B887 between Tarbert and Hushinish. It is a sheltered coastal village of eight houses, with two small stony beaches. Rising behind are the North Harris hills, and within easy reach are good tracks for walking.

Local services

There are various stores in Tarbert, covering essentials, and some gift shops. A wider range of shops and supermarkets are available in Stornoway. There are several restaurants, hotels and other places for eating out in Harris.
